Biography

Dr. Liu Wai (刘崴), also referenced in Chinese aesthetic listings as Dr. Liu Wei, is the director of Dalian Liu Wai Medical Aesthetics Clinic. His clinical focus centers on structural rhinoplasty and autologous cartilage nasal surgery, with an emphasis on balanced facial proportions, stable nasal support, and natural-looking outcomes.

As one of the earlier doctors in China to engage in autologous cartilage rhinoplasty research, Dr. Liu has built a professional reputation for combining academic rigor with meticulous surgical planning. During his training in Korea, his scholarly discipline and understanding of nasal aesthetic surgery were recognized by many Korean doctors, and his work in cartilage-based nasal shaping has earned consistent praise among patients and peers.

His philosophy is grounded in structure, safety, and individualized design. Rather than applying a single template, he evaluates nasal function, skin thickness, cartilage availability, facial harmony, and long-term stability before recommending a surgical plan. This approach supports predictable healing and results that respect the patient's natural features.

Core areas of expertise include structural rhinoplasty and nasal framework reconstruction; autologous cartilage rhinoplasty using ear, septal, or rib cartilage when appropriate; revision rhinoplasty and complex nasal correction; nasal tip refinement, dorsum augmentation, and functional-aesthetic balance; and personalized facial aesthetic planning with attentive postoperative care.

Dr. Liu's practice emphasizes clear communication, ethical patient selection, and evidence-informed techniques. He is committed to helping patients pursue refined nasal aesthetics without compromising nasal health, and his structural approach continues to shape his reputation as a dedicated aesthetic expert in Dalian.
